Kitchen Garden: Anderson's Directors get their hands dirty!

Anderson’s Directors, Daniel Anderson and Simon Marsh, have been embracing the country lifestyle and getting their hands dirty (for once)! They were let loose with a digger and a chainsaw in our allotment plot to be named the Anderson’s Kitchen Garden, and have, quite literally, been taking a ‘hands-on approach. It took Dan and Simon three whole days to complete the mammoth task of clearing out a rather large, shabby garden patch, a good few feet high with nettles and weeds, ready to grow all our fresh fruit, veg & herbs.

In the spirit of true country dining, the Kitchen Garden will help support the Anderson’s kitchen with fresh produce and ingredients, not only making our dishes fresher and tastier, but increasing our sustainability, too.

A section of the plot will also be donated to local school children from Wootten Wawen Primary School, to take care of and grow their own fruit & veg. Just imagine the adorable sight of all our little farmers looking after their little veg patch!

Redecorating & A Bespoke Kitchen!

Redecoration in the main restaurant area at the Bull’s Head is now in full swing. Our walls are being painted in a gorgeous lime white as a clean backdrop for the original oak beams that are characteristic of our new home. We’ll also have some walls sporting ‘mizzle’; an earthy, muted sage green colour, in keeping with our country theme.

The kitchen (where all the magic happens) is being completely emptied, recladded with new flooring and we are geekishly excited to have our state of the art equipment installed soon. It’s going to be ‘the bees knees’ and we're already itching to try out our snazzy new toys, and cook up some amazing dishes for our diners!
