Dining Hall Re-tiled!

Hello all! While Mother Nature has been busy dressing the lovely English countryside in Autumn colours, we've been busy dressing our Dining Hall floor in some equally lovely earthy coloured tiles!

Everything is slowly but surely coming together and Anderson’s at the Bull’s Head will soon be ready to give you all a warm, country welcome.

See you soon!

Kitchen Garden: Anderson's Directors get their hands dirty!

Daniel Anderson digging up the plot that will be dedicated to our Kitchen Garden

Anderson’s Directors, Daniel Anderson and Simon Marsh, have been embracing the country lifestyle and getting their hands dirty (for once)! They were let loose with a digger and a chainsaw in our allotment plot to be named the Anderson’s Kitchen Garden, and have, quite literally, been taking a ‘hands-on approach. It took Dan and Simon three whole days to complete the mammoth task of clearing out a rather large, shabby garden patch, a good few feet high with nettles and weeds, ready to grow all our fresh fruit, veg & herbs.

In the spirit of true country dining, the Kitchen Garden will help support the Anderson’s kitchen with fresh produce and ingredients, not only making our dishes fresher and tastier, but increasing our sustainability, too.

A section of the plot will also be donated to local school children from Wootten Wawen Primary School, to take care of and grow their own fruit & veg. Just imagine the adorable sight of all our little farmers looking after their little veg patch!

Redecorating & A Bespoke Kitchen!

Redecoration in the main restaurant area at the Bull’s Head is now in full swing. Our walls are being painted in a gorgeous lime white as a clean backdrop for the original oak beams that are characteristic of our new home. We’ll also have some walls sporting ‘mizzle’; an earthy, muted sage green colour, in keeping with our country theme.

The kitchen (where all the magic happens) is being completely emptied, recladded with new flooring and we are geekishly excited to have our state of the art equipment installed soon. It’s going to be ‘the bees knees’ and we're already itching to try out our snazzy new toys, and cook up some amazing dishes for our diners!

Anderson's at the Bull's Head: " A Blank Canvas"

Hello all, we have yet another update for you!

Anderson's at The Bull's Head has now been completely emptied and stripped bare. We have a "blank canvas" to work on and building work is in full swing!

Although Anderson's at the Bull's Head is undergoing a complete makeover, we are committed to keeping it's original features such as the exposed beams, the large gardens and the surrounding out houses. We hope to bring back the warm yet grand feel of this once very popular destination.

We're particularly excited to work on the main dining area with the vaulted roof which has a characteristic grandeur to it. We're bringing this to life with strategic modern lighting techniques to achieve both warmth and space, whilst putting in very subtle touches of a “hunting lodge” back in to the building.

At Anderson's, we pride ourselves on bringing the modern in with the old so they meet in the middle without confusing each other and we hope to achieve this with the design and decor of Anderson's at The Bull's Head in our lovely little country spot out in Wootten Wawen, Henley.

Introducing Anderson's at The Bull's Head

Anderson’s Bar and Grill, Birmingham’s multi award winning and favourite steak restaurant in St. Paul’s Square, Jewellery Quarter, is replicating its success in the form of Anderson’s at the Bull’s Head, in the beautiful village of Wootton Wawen in Henley-in-Arden!
Work has now begun on Anderson’s at The Bull’s Head, formerly ‘The Bull’s Head Inn’; one of Stratford Upon-Avon’s original Grade II listed buildings, complete with exposed timber beams and full of history and character.
We have some exciting plans for Anderson’s at the Bull’s Head, including a Shellfish Bar, a Smoke House so we can produce Anderson’s very own smoked salmon and cured meats, as well as an Anderson’s Kitchen Garden and Allotment to grow our own fresh, organic produce.
The restaurant will be serving up predominantly Anderson’s famous steaks but with many exciting and innovative additions to the menu!
We hope you are as excited and eager as we are for the launch of Anderson’s at The Bull’s Head. In the meantime, keep up with our blog and twitter for all our latest news and updates!
